The Multi-Compartment Network Model of Teacher Education (MCNMTE) My dissertation research developed and empirically validated a five-compartment, network-based model of teacher education (MCNMTE), tested across two independent institutional case studies — Teachers College (United States) and Samtse College of Education (Bhutan). The model maps how a teacher-preparation program's different components (curriculum planning, classroom implementation, and others) connect to and influence one another, and identifies where standards-aligned intentions tend to break down before they reach a classroom lesson plan.

A planned follow-on study extending MCNMTE to integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and accessibility principles — building on my professional background in disability services — and investigating the link between teacher curriculum planning and classroom implementation, the one linkage my dissertation's own future-research agenda identified as still unexplored. This UDL/accessibility integration is proposed future work; it was not part of the dissertation as defended.
