"An Observer from Shangri-La"— Teachers College, Columbia University news feature (May 2012), profiling me as a master's student, describing my Royal Education Council scholarship and an early pilot study — with my advisor Dr. O. Roger Anderson — into the gap between what pre-service science teachers are taught about standards and what actually shows up in their lesson plans. That pilot study later grew into my doctoral dissertation.
